Goodbye Horses
“Goodbye Horses” is a 60 × 48 inch original inspired by horseback riding along the beach at sunset in Costa Rica. While rooted in landscape, the piece leans into abstraction, softened and intentionally unsettled to feel dreamlike and surreal. The rocky shoreline is built from layered modelling paste, sand, and crushed stones, creating a sculptural surface rich in texture. Hand stitched tulle fabric forms the water, flowing gently through soft neutrals with blush and gold. The work captures a quiet moment of movement and calm where everything feels grounded, romantic, and free.
