MEET THE ARTIST
Hey, I’m Kristie! I create textured, surreal beach landscapes that feel dreamy and serene. The beach is my happy place, where I feel calm and connected, and I want my art to bring that same sense of peace into people’s homes.
Each piece is layered with texture to bring it to life. I hand-sew fabric to form the water, use sand from real beaches, and sculpt modelling paste to capture the shoreline’s natural beauty.
I started my career in Fashion Design, then Marketing, before turning to art as a creative outlet. As a recovering workaholic who’s been through burnout, painting helps me stay grounded and present. When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me at the beach with my dog or curled up with a good romance novel.
