Toes In The Sand
“Toes In the Sand” is a 48”×20” abstract original inspired by the feeling of walking barefoot along the beach and letting your toes sink into the sand. The surface is built up with layered modelling paste, sand, and crushed stones to echo the texture of sand and rock. Soft neutrals with blush and gold tones reflect light glimmering across the shoreline and create a romantic, dreamlike calm. The piece is about slowing down, feeling grounded, and inviting a sense of ease into a space.
Currently showing at Langdon Hall.
