Happy Place

Happy Place is a 48"x36" textured abstract inspired by quiet moments spent at the beach with my dog. The piece captures the feeling of a sandy shoreline and water splashing gently against a rocky edge. Built with layered modelling paste, the surface is rich in texture and softened with pastel tones that echo warm sand and light turquoise summer water. The work holds a sense of ease and familiarity and reflects the simple calm of being present in a place that feels like home.
